The Family Affairs Council signed a multilateral cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Associations Support Fund, Al Mawdah Family Development Association, and the Specialized Sub-Council of Family Development Associations on Sunday, May 28, 2023, on the sidelines of the International Exhibition for the Nonprofit Sector and Endowments, sponsored by the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development.

The agreement aims to enhance the integration of efforts between the parties to highlight the role and impact of family development associations and the non-profit sector in achieving family stability. The Council was represented by Her Excellency the Secretary General, Dr. Maimuna Al Khalil, while the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development was represented by the Undersecretary for Social Development, and the Associations Support Fund by the Chief Executive Officer, in addition to the Director General of Al Mawda Association for Family Development and the Secretary General of the Specialized Sub-Council for Family Development Associations.

Under the agreement, the parties will work to create a formal framework to unify joint efforts and cooperate to launch the project on the role and impact of family development associations on family stability in the Kingdom, and follow up on its supervision.

On this occasion, Her Excellency the Secretary General pointed out the importance of integrated work with organizations and associations to maximize their developmental impact, stressing the role of the Convention in supporting family stability to enable its members to actively participate in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.
