Last Friday, the Family Affairs Council, in cooperation with the Family Academy, launched the “One Family” initiative, which aims to raise community awareness by providing a number of training programs, targeting parents, family members and those interested in family education, and introducing them to the best methods and skills that help them in this aspect in order to increase community awareness related to family roles and duties, and mitigate the social impacts on the family imposed by the precautionary measures to prevent the Coronavirus pandemic.
The initiative works to achieve a number of main objectives: spreading community awareness of the importance of family and mental health in crises, emphasizing the importance of parents’ roles to maintain family stability under pressure, guiding parents on the best methods that help them carry out their family and work duties, encouraging them to educate their children on the importance of social distancing and its role in protecting the family, urging parents to plan for family planning and take advantage of crises to acquire new educational habits, highlighting the basics of working from home, and benefiting from training programs to complete their work from home.
