Family Affairs Council signs cooperation agreement with Founder’s University

The Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Hala bint Mazeed Al-Tuwaijri, the Deputy Executive Director of Measurement and Testing at the National Center for Measurement, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qatei, and the Assistant Executive Director of the Scientific Endowment at King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Fuad Sadaqa Mirdad, signed an agreement to harmonize the marriage license with the Family Readiness Scale.

This agreement aims to cooperate in launching several projects and initiatives compatible with the goals and capabilities of the three parties in the family field, under the supervision of the Family Affairs Council. The first step in this cooperation is to align the training program provided by the Scientific Endowment “Marriage Leadership License” with the “Family Readiness Scale” provided by Qiyas in an innovative form as an electronic application that allows applicants for marriage to measure their psychological and social readiness, as well as the extent to which they possess the system of values, skills and characteristics that enable cooperation and harmony, then obtain the results of the scale with clarification of strengths and weaknesses that motivate them to cooperate and harmonize.

This agreement comes within the interests of the Family Affairs Council to enable non-profit organizations to achieve a deeper impact in social work through community partnerships to achieve integration between agencies and raise the efficiency of work directed to the Saudi family, in addition to providing comprehensive solutions that measure skills and abilities and evaluate them with a scientific methodology, which contributes to achieving justice, quality and meeting the developmental needs of all family members and providing innovative community initiatives in the family field in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious 2030 vision, which aims to raise the quality of life and achieve family well-being.

Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, emphasized that one of the most important roles of the Council is to activate partnerships with different sectors, and when the existing efforts were reviewed, whether in government agencies or in other agencies, we found that there are many beautiful projects that can be utilized in serving families, and one of the projects that was reviewed was the family readiness measurement that was built and implemented and there was a large segment that responded to it, and we found that the basic components of this measurement will actually benefit family building to prepare for marriage and know the person and the person coming to marriage if they have the necessary knowledge to form a family, and after
