Riyadh, Muharram 20, 1440 AH, corresponding to September 30, 2018, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, received members of the Family Affairs Committee at his office at the Palace of Governance today, led by Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, Chairman of the Committee and member of the Regional Council.

His Highness was briefed on the practical strategies and direct coordination with the relevant authorities regarding the family. For his part, Al-Rabiah presented an overview of the vision and objectives of the committee in supporting the social fabric and family protection, care and development programs in building a strong and cohesive family that cares for its children and adheres to religious and moral values and high ideals.

It is noteworthy that the Family Affairs Committee was formed based on the Royal Decree to organize the “Family Affairs Council”, which handles family affairs within the Kingdom, and to establish committees linked to the head of each region’s council under the name “Family Affairs Committee”.
