On Monday, the Family Affairs Council held a training course entitled “Executive Leadership” to develop the overall performance methods of workers in family affairs committees in the regions and familiarize them with the procedures and steps associated with the implementation of programs, projects and initiatives, and the mechanism of activating community partnerships with governmental, private and private sectors.
The three-day course, implemented by a specialized training center, aims to define the roles and responsibilities between the Council and the regional committees, identify the challenges and issues facing the committees in the regions, provide appropriate solutions, acquire the skill of building and leading work teams, develop the capabilities of participants in preparing reports and documentation, improve strategies to meet the challenge of external expectations, as well as introduce the methodology of designing and implementing initiatives, and designing executive plans. The regional family committees play a pivotal role in implementing the Council’s vision to empower the family and enhance its developmental role in the Kingdom’s regions by identifying the developmental needs of the Saudi family in all regions, shedding light on its reality and the challenges it faces in the regions, and providing appropriate proposals and solutions, according to an effective communication mechanism between the General Secretariat of the Council and the regional committees.
These committees work to implement a number of objectives, most notably identifying the challenges facing the family in the region and its governorates and seeking to address them, communicating with the General Secretariat of the Family Affairs Council at the national level to learn about developments in development projects and strategic plans, supporting the preparation of research and consultations in everything related to family affairs, proposing initiatives, programs and partnerships, as well as providing the Council with periodic reports on family affairs in the regions.
