The Kingdom participated in the G20 meetings under the presidency of the Federative Republic of Brazil at the level of the Women’s Empowerment Working Group, which kicked off on Monday, July 8, and extended for three days in the capital, Brasilia, as the third meeting of the working group.
The Saudi delegation was headed by the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Maimouna bint Khalil Al Khalil. The first two days of the group’s meetings include the deliberations of the member states of the Women’s Working Group on the ministerial declaration that will be issued by the working group, which highlights the priorities of its work and what was agreed upon in previous meetings of the group.
On the third day, the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council will participate in a global symposium on “The Care Economy in the context of sharing international best practices” by reviewing “The Care Economy in the Saudi Context”.
