The Family Affairs Council emphasized the importance of following the instructions, measures and precautionary measures issued by government agencies that aim to prevent and prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus infection (Covid 19) and ensure the protection and safety of all segments of society, especially in crowded and closed environments, such as malls, shopping malls, public markets, wedding halls, weddings and hotels, and the importance of refraining from holding events and meetings that could be a fertile environment for the spread of the virus.
The Council indicated that community awareness and response to the instructions of the health authorities will be sufficient, God willing, to prevent and eliminate the spread of the virus, especially since all the precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom were proactive and in accordance with the highest medical standards, and came in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, stressing the need for concerted efforts and integration of roles and the keenness of all family members to follow appropriate health habits and stay away from gatherings, take care of hand hygiene and communicate directly with the relevant authorities to report suspected cases, in addition to following the updates and recommendations issued by the health authorities accurately and permanently
The Council praised the great efforts made by the Kingdom not only at home but also at the international level to fight this epidemic globally, as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – directed to provide financial support of 10 million US dollars to the World Health Organization to combat the Coronavirus, and to respond quickly to the urgent appeal launched by the World Health Organization to all countries to intensify efforts to take global measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.
