Family Affairs Council and Nourah University launch digital family platform …. Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Chairman of the Family Affairs Council, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, the Family Affairs Council launched today, Thursday, the digital family platform for family consultations (Famcare), a joint initiative with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University that allows it to supervise and develop the digital platform, in the presence of Her Excellency the University President Dr. Inas Al-Eisa, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Social Development, Mr. Majid Al-Ghanimi, Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council Dr. Hala Altwaijri, several representatives of ministries, leaders of the Council and the University, and representatives of local authorities.
The Digital Family Initiative aims to provide counseling, family guidance and social consultation services through an electronic application by communicating with an accredited and qualified group of specialists, social and psychological counselors, allowing beneficiaries in the Kingdom to quickly access the service, empower the family, and raise awareness, in complete privacy and at a lower cost.
On this occasion, the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, praised the continuous cooperation between the Council and Princess Nourah University in serving family issues, pointing out that this cooperation comes within the framework of the agreement concluded with the university to integrate efforts to increase community awareness, enhance the status of the family, and preserve it, in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030.
She added that this agreement will, God willing, contribute to achieving many gains for the Saudi family, perhaps the most prominent of which is the launch of the Digital Family Initiative (Famcare), which enables all family members to quickly access specialized and appropriate family consultations, while maintaining privacy within a reliable digital system that takes into account the best standards in providing electronic services directed to all family members.
