The Family Affairs Council and the Comprehensive Access Program at King Saud University signed a framework agreement that aims to cooperate and exchange experiences in family-related topics and provide all that would serve the community in various fields.
The signing ceremony took place at the university headquarters, where the two sides were represented by the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Maimuna Khalil Al Khalil, and the Executive Director of the Universal Access Program at King Saud University, Dr. Nasser bin Saad Al-Ajmi, The implementation of this agreement is effective from the date of its signing and for a period of one year, which can be extended.
The areas of cooperation between the two parties include community-oriented programs, public awareness programs, programs to promote family members through exhibitions, public lectures and conferences, family support programs, including meeting experts, * cooperation in the field of joint studies and research and learning about best practices and experiences, holding joint seminars, lectures and training programs, and exchanging information and statistics that support family programs.
The agreement also includes exchanging visits and attending meetings and conferences offered by either party in family-related fields and learning about best practices and experiences.
It is worth mentioning that the cooperation agreement comes out of the Family Affairs Council’s keenness to enhance joint work, and as an extension of its role in strengthening community partnership, consolidating cooperation and knowledge exchange, and benefiting from experiences and expertise in order to serve the Saudi family and enhance its active participation in society.
