The Women’s Committee decided that the Ideathon will be held virtually until December 9 to give interested people from all regions and governorates of the Kingdom the opportunity to participate, noting that participation is open to all women and men in any of the tracks that include: Supporting the status of women after the coronavirus pandemic, women and family health, technology and electronic applications, culture and arts, and human rights and legal awareness.
The Ideathon aims to enhance the role of Saudi women, transform ideas into startups, and support existing projects to develop and grow by providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools through training materials and counseling sessions provided by Ideathon’s strategic partners.
The 26 winners will have the opportunity to receive funding from the Social Development Bank, while the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) will provide them with the necessary support after the end of the Ideathon to overcome the challenges they may face as entrepreneurs through advisory sessions, development and support programs suitable for their business paths, and to learn more about the Tala Women Ideathon, please visit the website: www.ideathontalat.com
