The Family Affairs Council organizes the third edition of the Childhood Forum

On Friday, November 11, 2022, the Family Affairs Council organized the Childhood Forum 2022, under the title “Our Future is in Our Hands”, in the presence of a number of specialists in the field of childhood, at the Riyadh Schools Theater.

The first theme discussed our children and well-being, the second was about the identity of our children in light of the changes, and the third highlighted the achievements of the Kingdom’s children as successful and inspiring models.

The Secretary-General of the Council, Haila Al-Mukairish, explained that the Family Affairs Council is keen to organize this forum on an annual basis due to the importance of its objectives, which come in support of the role that the Kingdom attaches to the child, and to educate the family and society on the ideal ways to deal with the current and future challenges of children, highlighting the importance of supporting and empowering children as a strategic goal of the Council to enjoy a better and secure future.

On the other hand, the third Childhood Forum sought to clarify the meaning of well-being in children’s lives and its importance in achieving the comprehensive development of the child in all its psychological, health, mental and social aspects, and the most important factors and possibilities for obtaining an ideal environment that ensures that the child receives the best possible care to ensure the quality of the services provided to him.
The Childhood Forum 2022 hosted the Kingdom’s talented children and winners of local, regional and international awards to talk about their achievements at the local and international levels and the factors that enabled them to achieve successes to serve as a model to inspire other children to achieve their goals. An accompanying exhibition was also held on the sidelines of the forum with twenty introductory booths for specialized agencies to offer their services and expertise in the field of childhood to visitors.
