In the second session of the Family Dialogue Series, the Family Affairs Council organizes a family seminar entitled “The Journey of Searching for a Life Partner”
The Family Affairs Council organized the second session of the Family Symposium under the title “The Journey of Searching for a Life Partner” as part of the Family Dialogues series, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, on Wednesday evening, Rajab 17, 1444, corresponding to February 8, 2023, by hosting a consultant and assistant professor of psychiatry at King Saud University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Alyan, in the presence and participation of a number of young men and women.
The seminar aims to explore the aspirations and visions of young people at the stage of searching for appropriate qualities in the right partner before getting married, and to identify the criteria and priorities for choosing a life partner, in addition to getting rid of negative expectations about the institution of marriage by hosting experts and specialists in family relations. In his dialogue with young men and women, Al-Olyan addressed a number of topics, most notably drawing a realistic picture of marriage and defining the criteria for choosing a life partner.
The seminar comes within the framework of the partnership between the Family Affairs Council and the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue to raise awareness levels by holding specialized dialogue forums and seminars, organizing events of common interest in family issues, social coexistence and tolerance, implementing youth and volunteer programs for young groups that promote the spirit of national unity, and preparing training programs for the target groups of both parties.
