Her Excellency the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Maimuna Al Khalil, held a meeting via video conference with Ms. Liz Neville, Acting Director of the Australian Institute of Family Studies, researcher in child studies, and Director of the Institute’s Research Department.
During the meeting, they exchanged experiences and research experiences related to the family, and reviewed the Council’s roles and experiences in enhancing the status of the family and its contribution to the process of supporting the process of building and development in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Council’s plans and courses of action in empowering the family and enhancing its developmental roles, deepening cooperative relations and exchanging knowledge at the international level.
It is worth mentioning that the Australian Institute of Family Studies is an agency of the Australian government, established in 1980, and its mission is to conduct research into the well-being of families in Australia and to promote existing practices in the family services sector.
