Family Affairs Council signs MoU to economically empower women and families

The Family Affairs Council signed a memorandum of understanding with Optimal Empowerment for Employment, which provides employment services and small business support, with the aim of raising the standard of living of women and families alike to increase their productive efficiency by offering many programs that benefit women and society.

H.E. Dr. Khalil Al Khalil represented the Council in the agreement, while Mr. Sulaiman Saleh Al-Turaifi represented Optimal Empowerment for Employment.
This memorandum comes as part of the Council’s efforts to enhance the status of the family, enable it to play an active role in society and improve its quality of life.

The memorandum aims to support women owners of small professions and entrepreneurial projects and activate their participation in all businesses to improve and sustain their income and standard of living, which directly contributes to achieving national development goals and realizing the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

On this occasion, the Secretary-General of the Family Affairs Council emphasized that the agreement contributes to achieving the Council’s goals of holding strategic partnerships with government institutions, the private sector, and the non-profit sector to enhance the status of the family, in addition to achieving the objectives of the Women’s Department of the Family Affairs Council in enhancing the status of women and empowering them socially, economically, and cognitively to ensure the sustainability of their financial and family stability.
