Governor of Tabuk Patronizes Signing of MoU Between Family Affairs Council and University of Tabuk

Under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and the Chairman of the Family Affairs Council, the Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Tabuk. The MOU was signed by Dr. Haya Almagwashi, Executive Assistant at the Family Affairs Council, and Prof. Saad Al-Mutairi, Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The signing took place at the headquarters of the Emirate of the Tabuk Region on Monday, June 30, 2025. This initiative is part of the Council’s ongoing efforts in supporting partnerships that contribute to enhancing the quality of family well-being and stability.

This Memorandum of Understanding aims to support the Council in its efforts to expand strategic partnerships with higher education institutions and to reach families and their members through educational, awareness, and training programs that promote cognitive, economic, and social empowerment. It also seeks to encourage volunteerism and community initiatives that serve the family. In addition to align relevant academic disciplines and educational outcomes, conduct specialized research and studies on priority family issues, and activate the university’s role as an incubator for community-based initiatives.

This partnership also reflects a joint commitment to expanding impact and maximizing the benefits of national initiatives through the integration of efforts between educational and social institutions, ensuring the effective delivery of positive messages to target audiences.
