Majlis organizes a workshop for heads of family committees in the regions

The Council for Family Affairs, represented by the Family Committee, organized yesterday a workshop for the heads of family affairs committees in the regions, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Hala bint Mazeed Al-Tuwaijri, and the Chairman of the Committee, Colonel Engineer Ahmed Al-Fares. During the workshop, which was held at the headquarters of the Family Affairs Council in Riyadh, a number of important topics on the agenda of the workshop were discussed, the most important of which was the definition of the role of the main committee of the Council and its complementary relationship with the regional committees, and the discussion of the most important plans, programs and developmental needs of the Saudi family, including studying the obstacles and difficulties faced by the family in all its components and identifying the actual role of the tasks of the family affairs committees in the regions. During the workshop, Colonel Ahmed Al-Fares emphasized the importance of identifying issues and appropriate solutions, and building an integrated relationship between the main committee and the sub-committees to enable the Family Affairs Council to achieve its goals in promoting the status of the family and supporting its march, indicating that this is one of the most important objectives of the main committee of the Council. The workshop comes as part of a series of workshops organized by the Council in order to develop the lifestyle and enhance the status of the family to achieve stability and enable it to play its role in building an ideal society that enjoys stability and family well-being and is in line with Vision 2030.
