Supporting support lines The Family Affairs Council and the National Family Safety Program sign a memorandum of understanding

The Family Affairs Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Family Safety Program to enhance cooperation, exchange of expertise and knowledge transfer between the two parties. The Council was represented by Her Excellency Dr. Maymouna bint Khalil Al Khalil, Secretary General, while the National Family Safety Program was represented by H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdulaziz Al-Issa, Executive Director of the program.

The Family Affairs Council is concerned with enhancing the status and role of the family in society and preserving a strong and cohesive family, and the Family Safety Program at the Ministry of National Guard is concerned with enhancing family security in society and combating domestic violence. In order to achieve this, the program is launching a helpline service to provide free telephone lines to support women and children in overcoming any crises and challenges they may face in various aspects of life, by listening in complete privacy to the issue, providing appropriate counseling by specialists, and providing

The memorandum aims to raise the level of cooperation between the two parties, enhance their coordination and integrate their efforts in the field of their specializations, establish a general framework for joint activities and tasks, develop their institutional capacities, and integrate between them to support the support lines.
