The Family Affairs Council concluded the third edition of the “Malik Haqq” awareness campaign, which comes with the support of the Human Capacity Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, and the participation of a number of entities concerned with the family and strengthening its structure and stability.

The campaign was launched in early February and lasted for 14 days with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of confronting bullying and publicizing its causes and effects on the individual, family and society. The campaign included publishing a number of educational materials and awareness films on social media, visual and radio channels, in addition to advertising means in external sites.
The campaign – which comes within the framework of the family initiative – also included holding training workshops for a number of target groups, in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Breda and Khamis Mushait: Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Buraidah, and Khamis Mushait, where children from all stages of public, governmental, private and international education participated in in-person workshops to teach them methods and ways to combat bullying, through various activities and events, using various educational tools.

Parents, educators and teachers participated in the video workshops (remotely), which were characterized by fruitful interaction and enriching participation, through exploratory questions and direct interventions.

The total number of workshops amounted to 9, with more than 720 people benefiting from them.
It is worth mentioning that the first edition of the “Malik Haqq” campaign was launched in 2021, the second edition in 2022 was characterized by the holding of the “Together Against Bullying” forum, and the third edition witnessed wide participation and great interaction from the relevant authorities and partners, whose number exceeded 50 entities and partners from various governmental, private and non-profit sectors.
The Family Affairs Council seeks to materialize its vision of “empowering the family and enhancing its role in the sustainable development of Saudi society in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030”.
and achieve the mission of the National Family Strategy by “enabling families – in an environment of security, justice and prosperity – to acquire the necessary skills to manage their lives, enhance their position in society, and expand their opportunities to achieve the best human wealth outcomes”.
