His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Family Affairs Council, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, chaired on Sunday the 21st meeting of the Board of Directors of the Family Affairs Council and the first in 2024, in the presence of Her Excellency the Secretary General of the Council, Dr. Maymouna bint Khalil Al Khalil, and all members of the Council.
The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda and reviewed the progress of the National Family Strategy.
The meeting also reviewed the reports of family-related projects and initiatives and their performance indicators, in addition to a number of related topics.
During the meeting, Al Rajhi emphasized the importance of building complementary initiatives and effective partnerships between the Council, governmental and private entities, and the non-profit sector, and stressed the importance of concerted efforts to prepare and implement projects aimed at enabling the family to play its role in the process of building and development, and preserving societal values.
He also called for continued work to monitor the challenges and issues affecting all components of the family.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister thanked all members of the Council and blessed their efforts that contribute to raising the quality of family life in accordance with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
