The third session of the Arab Children’s Parliament concluded at its permanent headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, under the title “Social Responsibility of the Parliamentary Member”, with the participation of a number of children from Arab League member states. The Parliament aims to present and discuss all matters related to childhood in participating countries, and provide a platform for children to express their needs and issues that result in recommendations or charters to be submitted to the League of Arab States for presentation to Arab leaders at their periodic meetings, to help draw a bright future in which children can realize their ambitions and dreams.

The Kingdom was represented at the Arab Children’s Parliament by four children from the Childhood Advisory Committee of the Family Affairs Council, during which they participated in the various activities of the Parliament, including intensive scientific programs, a number of training workshops, in addition to many recreational activities to strengthen acquaintance between the members of the Parliament.

The fourth session of the third session of the Arab Children’s Parliament comes as a conclusion to the current session, during which the Arab Children’s Parliament discussed in its previous sessions several key topics of contemporary issues, most notably (the child’s right to decision-making) and (the Arab child is a sustainable effort for the climate), and the third session highlighted (artificial intelligence through the eyes of Arab children)
